Farming is the main occupation. The farmers grow wheat,
bajra, jowar, pulses, cotton, oil-seeds and tobacco.
The people of Rajasthan make beautiful handicrafts
in brass, silver, lacquer, wood, leather and pottery.

Rajasthanis are sturdy, brave and cheerful people
who are fond of wearing colourful clothes. Men wear
kurta, dhoti and colourful turbans. The women wear
a colourful blouse called kanchi, ghaghra and odhani.
